Christmas Party Night OOTN

So, Christmas is right around the corner and I'm completely ready and have had a stress free weekend unlike my mother who only went shopping for the first time yesterday and only got the decorations down yesterday too! So glad i'm organised!

We went to a Christmas Party the other week with some friends. It was at a hotel so we stayed overnight and we got to use their spa facilities in the daytime. It was really nice and relaxing and i'd definitely do it again!

In the evening, we were greeted with yummy mulled cider which I think is my new favourite! We then had a 5 course sit down meal with 5 bottles of complimentary wine aha. There was 8 of us in total. We then got to dance the night away before heading upstairs to bed.

Make up for the night. I had Katy Perry for Eylure lashes on. If i'd have had time I would've curled my hair but I didn't get round to it!

I haven't worn a knee length dress before but Ryan swayed me to get one and I actually really liked it. This one was in the sale and I got it for £20 from Dorothy Perkins.

My earrings were £11 from River Island.

Excuse the picture quality of this one!

Me & Ryan :)

I actually had 3 dresses to choose from as I was worried that I would be at the hotel getting ready and then panic that I didn't like it! I'll do posts on them later!

New shoes which we're an absolute bargain! <3 nbsp="nbsp" p="p">

I picked up this bag on the day of the party. It was £14.99 from T K Maxx and is from a brand called Volum. They have a huge variety and there are some good prices in there too!

I finally picked up the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer that everyone raves about. For £4 something it definitely does a good job.

Are you all ready for Christmas?

Glossybox December 2012

As I was unwrapping my Glossybox, I was really excited as it smelt absolutely amazing! Turns out this was because my Mary Greenwell Lemon perfume sample had smashed.  Glossybox are going to send me another one out but as it's only a perfume sample i'm not really that bothered. I'm pleased with the rest of the contents though!

Pretty Packaging :)

My favourite item is definitely the Seche Nail Varnish. Normally make up items that I receive in my Glossybox are colours that I wouldn't really wear but this is perfect :) It's like a pearly pink and is good after one coat.

Sleek Lipstick: This is a nice product to get, I would've preferred a pink/nude colour as I don't really wear red but i'm sure i'll use it sometimes.

To buy or not to buy?

image from Boots website

The Soap and Glory set from Boots goes on sale this Friday 14th December! The set is currently on sale for £60 but contains over £70 worth of products. In the sale it goes down to £27!

They reduce the giant soap and glory set every year usually the week before Christmas so it's always worth waiting till then to get it.

I didn't get it last year but I did get it the year before but i'm undecided whether to pick it up this year! Simply because I have loads of S&G products on the go at the moment and am really trying to reduce all the products that I have but who can resist a good deal?

The offer goes on till Thursday 20th December but they end to sell quite quickly.

  • Clean On Me shower gel, 500ml (£5.50)
  • The Righteous Butter body butter, 300ml (£10.50)
  • Peaches and Clean cleansing milk, 200ml (£7)
  • Sugar Crush body scrub, 300ml (£8)
  • Heel Genius foot mask, 125ml (£5.50)
  • Smoothie Star body lotion, 500ml (£10)
  • Hand Food hand cream, 125ml (£5)
  • Super-Colour Sexy Mother Pucker lip plumper in Punch Bowl, 3ml (£9)
  • Thick and Fast mascara, 10ml (£10)

I love Soap & Glory's Clean On Me and have just finished mine so it's tempting, you can see my review for it here.

I am using up a bottle of Peaches and Clean at the moment and it is definitely something that I will repurchase when it's finished.

I've actually tried all the body products expect Heel Genius and the Smoothie Star Body Lotion before and really like them all.

But, I'm not really a fan of the Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumper and for some reason that is putting me of trying the mascara.

After writing all the products out and realising that I do really like most of them, I think I am going to try and get this on Friday :)

You can order it online too but there is a £2.95 p&p charge.

Will any of you be getting this?

Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Haul - New Shoes :)

12/12/12 ;) I'm back from been away on holiday and settling back into work so blogging can recommence! I cannot believe how cold it is outside, I am wrapping up in practically tonnes of layers just to go to work.

So whilst away on holiday, we were literally in the middle of nowhere which in some ways was nice but been a city girl, I really do like my shops! Luckily, I have a fiancée who knows that and happily suggested a day out to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet even though it was 2 hours away. <3 nbsp="nbsp" p="p">

You can see what I picked up last time I went here.

My plan was to find a dress to wear to a Christmas Party that we had at the weekend but I found shoes before I found a dress so I ended up matching my dress to my shoes rather than the other way around.

We walked into LK Bennett (where I got my bag last time!) and these shoes were on display in purple, turquoise and mustard yellow. They were cute so I picked them up to look at the price and they were reduced from £250 to only £40. I had to look twice and get Ryan to check as I thought that couldn't be right aha.

How pretty is the heel :) When I first wore them it was so strange having to pull the protective film layer of the bottom of the shoe it was like ripping paper!

Then, I picked up these earring sets for £15 each as I decided it was time to stop wearing cheap rubbish earrings that make your ears go black so these are versatile for everyday wear :)

At the moment I am on holiday in the middle of nowhere! Not even sure if this is going to post but I'm going to try :) We're currently driving out of the way to get to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet :)

Just before we left home, I found out that I had won a raffle prize at our local Christmas fair -

You had to guess the dogs name - I spent a pound and actually won aha - his name is Cinnamon :)
